Stalker is in court
For those who don’t know me too well, my friend, Iva Franks and I have been enduring a stalker for the past three years... And finally it has come to a head!
It started when i received an email from a woman named Wendy Feiner who had seen a picture of me on my old website and decided she wanted a date with me. She sent me a 20 year old photo and we met in her place in Malibu California. Of course when she opened the door, I realised the photo was an old photo!
After discovering that this was not really her house (she was housesitting), I quickly exited and never saw her again.
She kept in contact with me, but I soon discovered she was an alcoholic.
Then in 2004, I used one of her friends, actress Iva Franks in my latest film, Battlespace. At this point Wendy got angry, and for the next 2 years, I would receive 3-5 long. emails from her a week. All would be strangely abusive and written while she was drunk.
I learned to ignore these emails, but they continued, and she seemed to be having email conversations with me, even though i never responded. Samples of her emails can be found below. Please excuse the abusiveness of these emails, but they are exact transcripts. I have kept all she has sent me.
The amazing thing was, I would get emails from her “imaginary” husband, as well as her non-existent personal assistant. (see below)
In addition she managed to track down my mother’s address and started mailing me photos and dead insects.
She signed me up to strange websites and tried to change my company address.
She would also email Iva in a similar way, and then, sooner or later, the death threats began. And soon after this, she started reporting us to the FBI, blaming us for things like the 911 attacks, to the shuttle crash.
After a repeated death threat to Iva, her small apartment was raided and police found thousands of files on Iva and myself.
Finally, after she threatened to kill a few police officers, she ended up in court and now the case is still pending. We are hoping she will be locked away for Iva’s safety and protection. Wendy is a sick person and needs serious help.
